Dryer does absolutely nothing when the start button is pushed. There is app. 120vac from center to each outside terminal and 240vac across the two outside terminals on the pigtail.. There seems to be two thermal fuses and both OHM out OK. The heating element Ohms out about 10 OHMs. The push to start switch also checks OK.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Walter,

Sounds like you know what you're doing. If you have not yet found a schematic and wiring diagram, please take the back off and look.
It's usually on the back cover. It may also be somewhere in a plastic bag, or envelope. This will help you in tracing the problem.
Without that, I'm afraid not much more can be done.

If you can't find the schematic and wiring diagram, call Maytag's
customer service (800...) and they should be able to email it to you.
