This Maytag branded Quality Whirlpool drier, model MEDC400VWO, has blown three thermal fuses in six months time. The last one only lasted about about three weeks. The store sold me the Supco SET 401 which replaces part no. WE4X867 and 3392519. I see no restrictions in the air flow and see no arcs or welding on the heating element. any and all suggestions appreciated.

Walter...get a clamp-on current meter and measure the current. you do not say if this is gas/electric.
Few of us have the patience to google a model number :-) If this is gas and your fuse is 120V - consider
one of the Kill-A-watt devices and monitor.

But I'm sure you knew all that already :-)
